I thought Jirachi would be a nice messenger to wish everyone a happy new year! He's pretty much the most adorable legendary in my book. This may not be the most adorable drawing of him but not bad for my first try!

I started working on this in the hours up to midnight thinking it might be my last 2013 drawing but I spent more hours working on it today, really making it my first drawing of 2014. Although I used plenty of stock brushes in the background it came out alright! I don't really do resolutions but I hope I can get myself to make more fun art like this this year, definitely a goal of mine to enjoy art more again rather than getting so stressed about it.
