Campout with Impmon

A picture of me and Impmon camping out.

I've been working on this on and off for about 3 weeks, I think I'm done working on it for now and it's worth posting. I know I went kind of crazy with the fancy photoshop brushes.

I started this as a sketch one day when I was feeling pretty sad so I thought I'd draw a digimon picture to make me feel better. But it ended up also making me sad because I realized I always look sleepy when I draw myself now and it's like I'm not part of the old adventure anymore, I don't have the energy and I'm always just loving things from afar. It's like I've been more motherly rather than an adventurer. Maybe some time I'll draw myself not just sitting around.

Anyway, because I re-drew this picture like 7 times trying to get a better composition, by the time I finally got this composition I figured I'd spent so much time on it that I might as well try to make it a total effort and make it as good as I can. I'm pretty surprised with how it came out, it's not exactly what I pictured but it certainly got close! So, I'm pleased with it. Maybe I'll mess around with it again in the future, who knows. It's been a good mini-project to get my mind off school-work.

I used a star brush by Caediel, a leaf foliage brush by Dierat, a lush grass brush by Imaliea, and an aurora brush by ~redheadstock.
